Enhancement suggestion - Click on item on canvas shows properties

Currently clicking on an item on the canvas does nothing, I think it would be useful if a single click on an object on the canvas opened the properties for that item. Much faster than going to utilities, selecting properties, selecting the item and then clicking show

Tony J There are a million things that can happen to an item when it is selected. That's why you have to use the menu to choose what will happen to something and then select the something. Nothing is selectable until an action is chosen. That's simply the way it must work and also the way it works in nearly every other type of program.
