how to combine multiple patterns for printing

I've been using your lovely software as a starting point for drafting custom patterns for my fashion dolls (Barbie, Ken, et al.) I realize doll proportions can be a little off from standard human sizes but most things seem to work. I'm not sure if it is due to the much smaller size that is confusing it, but I frequently get errors when testing detailed measurements. If I stick with the basic slopers, they seem to be fine.

On to the actual questions: Is there a way I can combine multiple pattern renderings in one PDF to save paper? For example, I have a full set of measurements for my mini-me, and I'd like to print the trouser and bodice slopers at once, rather than having to add one pattern to my basket, print it, and then add the second. (Maybe I'm misunderstanding instructions?)

When patterns are small enough I'd also like to combine multiple pattern pieces on one page so that I could print the bodice front, back, collar and sleeves on one sheet, rather than placing one tiny piece on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. Am I missing an option that is already available?

Jason King-Lowe I'm not ignoring you. I'm adding a feature in the Fashioner that will allow you to rearranged the pieces of a pattern so you can print them out together. Give me another day on that.

As for multiple pattern sets on the same PDF (top and pants), we have to work on that one. I think I have an idea of how to make that work, but it takes a bit more programming. I'll let you know when that's ready to go.

Also, I'm worried that your doll patterns are failing on things other than slopers. That shouldn't happen. Can you tell me the patterns and variables that you have set that fail? I want them all to work.

The most recent issue I've had is with the measurements for my 'mini-me'. If I use basic measurements I can generate a bodice sloper when I test. However, when I use the detailed measurements, I get an error at the shoulder slope intersection. There are a lot of things besides the program at play, like inaccurate measurements as well as the smaller sizes.

these are the measurements where the breakdown occurs and the explanations of the drafting.

Center Length Front:
7.50 cm
Standard:
42.62 cm
Now we need to establish the shoulder point. This is done by creating a circle at center front waist with the radius of the Shoulder Slope Front.

The point where this circle intersects the shoulder width reference line is the shoulder point.

If these two items do not intersect, the draft will throw an error (Shoulder slope intersection failed) and stop.

The grey dotted line indicates the shoulder slope.

Jason King-Lowe I've added a new feature to the Fashioner that allows you to drag patterns around. If you select a pattern set, it will bring all the patterns into the Fashioner on top of each other. If any of the "draft" layers are visible, you need to get rid of those before printing. Layer Visibility tool.

Then use this new tool to move the patterns around for placement on your PDF. Drag Layer Tool

If the text is too big, as it was when I tested with a Barbie set, then just hide the "text" layer, too.

As for the bodice sloper draft testing, what is the Ref number of the measurement set in your account you are using? I'll take a look at what is going on to try to solve it.
