Fashioner - Points Size and Deleting Layers

Hi! First off, I want to say thank you for making this software!!

I was a huge fan of the original software before the update but I definitely love the improvements and look of the entire site.

I notice that when I add a point to the Fashioner, it's really small. I would zoom in enough so I could see the point, but when I use the "add point from point" feature, I would need to zoom out again and face the same problem of not being able to find the 1st and 2nd points. Is there any way to increase the size of the points (similar to the old software)?

Another Question, How do you delete unwanted layers?

I've been trying to recreate the issue you describe and I've been unsuccessful. My points aren't really small unless I'm zoomed way out on the canvas. I didn't make any changes to point size in the Fashioner for the upgrade, so I'm not sure what could have changed. Do you have some screen shots or anything else you can share?

I don't offer layer deletion because it could really wreak havoc. Your best option is to use the Layers > Layer Visibility and hide the layers you don't want to see. They shouldn't interfere with your other work once hidden.

Are you sure that is only 10"?

These two points are 10" apart on my screen:

For my points to be that small I'd have to be very, very far zoomed out. If you select Utilities > Distance Between points and select the top and bottom points, does it say 10" on your computer?

Yep! It's 10" apart.

I tried everything to make the point larger- I even moved from my 14" macbook to a 33" monitor, and it's slightly better if not the same.

I think the last image regarding default settings holds the answer. I'm so glad you included that.

The measurement set you chose to use has a Scale Factor of 10%. That means the body has a total height of approximately 6" / 152mm. That is super tiny and everything is scaling down because of that.

Update: I was able to locate your measurement set based on the name in the screenshot. I'm guessing you wanted to use the Fashioner blank and it wouldn't let you proceed without creating a set with the only required measurement, which is height.

This height is the body height of a person. For all the scaling to be 100% in the Fashioner, you would want to use a body height of an adult so that the Scale Factor is 100%. It looks like you put in 6" because you didn't know the consequences of that. Everything scales based on that factor, even in the Fashioner.

I think we need to change something because I completely understand what you did. We want that factor to always be 100% with the blank.

I'm so glad you found this vulnerability. We'll get that patched. Unfortunately, you will need to start a new Fashioner session using an adult height to get everything back to "normal".

Another Update!
We've fixed the Fashioner Blank so that the scale is always 100%, regardless of the height value of the measurement set. That will prevent this from happening again.
